Aaron Judge gets the Yankees out to an early lead as he crushes a solo home run to right field, his league-leading 18th of the season
The Yankees’ slugger crossed the final stadium off his list Friday night with a towering shot at Coors Field, launching a solo home run to center field in the sixth inning. It came in his first career game at the hitter-friendly park and marked his 17th long ball of the season.
At 326 feet, it was the shortest home run of his career thus far, just barely sailing over the 318-foot fence in Yankee Stadium. After the game, Judge joked that he was resorting to drastic measures to try to help the ball get over the fence.
Aaron Judge highlights our May 24 lineup of MLB home run props as he takes on the struggling Kyle Freeland in Colorado.
The Judge helped the New York Yankees beat the Texas Rangers in the first game of the series, hitting a new home run ‘low’.
The Yankees (28-19) moved to a season-best nine games over .500 and won for a ninth time in their past 12, beating Aaron Boone’s brother (Bret, the Rangers hitting coach) and Mark Leiter Jr.’s cousin (Jack, a Rangers starter).
