Ozzy Osbourne will have one last ride through his beloved hometown. The city of Birmingham in England announced on Tuesday that it is planning “to pay its final respects to one of its most cherished cultural icons Ozzy Osbourne as his cortege and family visit Broad Street in the city that he loved” on Wednesday,

The city of Birmingham announced that Ozzy Osbourne — who died at 76 on Tuesday, July 22 — will be honored with a funeral procession in his hometown on Wednesday, July 30. The Black Sabbath frontman died two weeks after his final performance.

The private event will be preceded by a public funeral procession that will travel through the center of the singer's childhood hometown, passing the Black Sabbath bridge and bench where thousands of fans have left messages and flowers in tribute to the pioneering heavy metal singer.
