Thailand and Cambodia have accused each other of new attacks as border clashes continue for a third day, leaving at least 33 people dead and over 168,000 displaced as international pressure mounts to reach a ceasefire.

Cambodia and Thailand forces fought each other for the third day over contested territory as the death toll rose to at least 32 as both sought a cease-fire.

Bangkok and Phnom Penh have been fighting over territory disputed since colonial power France drew the border between them more than a century ago.
