Former Penn State cornerback Cam Miller entered the NCAA transfer portal earlier this week. Now, he knows where he will play next. The Florida native is staying in the Big Ten by signing with Rutgers,

Penn State’s cornerback room looked a lot different this time last year. Now, with depth in a much better position, it appears as if the Nittany Lions are set to potentially lose one of its contributors with cornerback Cam Miller entering the transfer portal.

Miller will be the fifth Penn State player to enter the NCAA transfer portal. Quarterback Beau Pribula has committed to Missouri and tight end Jerry Cross is heading to Memphis. Wide receiver Feyisayo Oluleye and defensive lineman T.A. Cunningham are still in the transfer portal.

Cam Miller, who will be entering his fourth season, is entering the transfer portal, per a report by Blue-White Illustrated. Miller would have been an integral part of the Lions’ cornerback room in 2025. Earlier on Sunday, Penn State veteran corner Jalen Kimber declared for the NFL draft.

Rutgers football has bolstered its secondary with some solid Big Ten talent, adding Penn State transfer cornerback Cam Miller.

As a junior in 2024, Miller appeared in all 16 games, starting in four. He racked up 27 total tackles, five pass deflections and one sack.
