LOS ANGELES — Cameron Brink was set to come off the bench for the Los Angeles Sparks on Tuesday night in her first WNBA game in 13 months after rehabbing from a left ACL injury. The Sparks brought a five-game winning streak into their game against the Las Vegas Aces.

After 406 days, Cameron Brink made her much awaited return for the Los Angeles Sparks on Tuesday. In her first action since tearing her ACL on June 18, 2024 against the Connecticut Sun, Brink finished the night with five points and three rebounds with one block, assist and steal in 13 minutes in an 89-74 loss to the Las Vegas Aces .

Brink first went down with the knee injury during a loss to the Connecticut Sun last June, just 15 games into her WNBA career. The former No. 2 overall pick had to be carried off the floor, and the team quickly confirmed that her ACL was torn. Brink had been sidelined ever since.
