The Cubs took two of three against the Nationals winning yesterday 7-1. Ian Happ went 3-6 and drove in four runs to lead the rout for Chicago.

The 28-year-old eventually gave up two runs, and although the Tigers clawed back, the White Sox stole the show in the 10th inning. The Tigers lost, 3-2, in the finale of the four-game series at Rate Field, settling for a split. In the bottom of the 10th, Tim Elko hit a walk-off single off right-handed reliever Beau Brieske.
