F1 driver Lewis Hamilton is 'devastated' after running over a groundhog during the 13th lap of the Canadian Grand Prix. 'I love animals, so I’m so sad about it,' Hamilton told reporters after the race.
Norris crashed himself out of the race when he inexplicably tried to pass McLaren teammate Oscar Piastri for fourth place with less than five laps left. Norris got past Piastri in the hairpin, but Piastri was able to get back alongside on the corner exit and won the drag race down the main straightaway until the final chicane.

The next F1 race will be the Canadian Grand Prix on Sunday, June 15. That race was a thrilling mixed-conditions affair in 2024 with Max Verstappen taking his sixth win of the season. It marked a turning point in his results, though, as he'd win just three of the remaining 15 races on the schedule.
Racing legend Lewis Hamilton, a producer on an upcoming movie starring Brad Pitt as a fictional Formula 1 driver, wanted the film to show the reality of what it looks, feels and sounds like to speed around a track at 200 miles per hour.
