The State Department announced over the weekend it will be pausing visitor visas from Gaza over claims some recipients may have ties to terrorist groups.

The U.S. halts visitor visas for Gaza residents, blocking even life-saving medical travel for children, amid political pressure and a review of humanitarian visa procedures.

A day after conservative activist Laura Loomer posted videos on social media of children from Gaza arriving in the U.S. for medical treatment and questioning how they got visas, the State Department said it was halting all visitor visas for people from Gaza pending a review.
