Firefighters responded to a fire on Grand Rapids’ southeast side Tuesday night. Just after 9:30 p.m., the Grand Rapids Fire Department was called to a home on Kalamazoo Avenue SE between Prince Street SE and Watkins Street SE.

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — First responders took a woman to the hospital Monday night after police said a suspect stabbed her. The Grand Rapids Police Department said officers were called to the area of Madison Avenue SE and Cherry Street around 10:20 p.m. Monday to a report of a stabbing.
