Former Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Kenny Pickett suffered a hamstring injury at the end of Saturday’s training camp practice, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

The Browns’ open quarterback competition has taken a turn. Kenny Pickett, one of the presumed frontrunners for the job, hurt his hamstring during Saturday’s practice and is expected to re-evaluate the injury later this week, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported Sunday.

Browns coach Kevin Stefanski said on July 28 he didn't have a set timeline for when QB Kenny Pickett would return, but expects it "very quickly."
