Detroit Lions head coach Dan Campbell gave an update on Safety Morice Norris three days after he left the preseason game against the Atlanta Falcons in an ambulance.

ALLEN PARK, Mich. (AP) — Detroit Lions safety Morice Norris, who was taken off the field in an ambulance late in a preseason game last week, is in concussion protocol and doing well, coach Dan Campbell said Monday.

Lions defensive back Morice Norris is back in Detroit, and that's a definite positive. After the scary head injury Norris suffered in the Lions' preseason game Friday night in Atlanta, it's great to hear that Norris is progressing well.
