Detroit Lions safety Morice Norris, who was taken off the field in an ambulance late in a preseason game last week, is in concussion protocol and doing well, coach Dan Campbell said Monday.

Detroit Lions defensive back Morice Norris was carted off the field with what appeared to be a neck injury early in the fourth quarter Friday.

Morice Norris wrote on Instagram he was "all good" after spending the night in an Atlanta hospital. He's expected to return to Detroit on Saturday.
