No. 20 Maryland's comeback win at No. 8 Ohio State shows it is back on track after January struggles
Maryland proved on Sunday that it is back on track after a four-game losing streak in January. The 20th-ranked Terrapins rallied from a 19-point deficit for a 76-75 victory at No. 8 Ohio State. This is Maryland’s largest comeback since also being down 19 at James Madison in 2019.
After a dominant first half against the 20th-ranked Terrapins, Ohio State allowed Maryland to take control of the game in the second half. Still with several chances to win or tie the game in the final seconds, the No. 8 Buckeyes came up short on all of them, falling 76-75 for their first loss of the season against a team not ranked in the top 10.
