Ohio State men's basketball struggled in a loss to Virginia, with John Mobley Jr.'s absence due to injury highlighting the team's reliance on his playmaking and scoring.

Ohio State went cold late, shooting 1-for-9 in the final four minutes, and Virginia took a 65-61 lead. A Devin Royal turnover and a Christoph Tilly three-point miss were all the Cavaliers needed to take hold of the game late. A couple of Virginia free throws and the Cavaliers won the game 70-66.

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State’s men’s basketball team is set for a massive game on Tuesday night against Wisconsin. The Buckeyes lost by four over the weekend to Virginia, and blew a second half lead in the process.
