The government has said supporters of a "terrorist organisation will feel the full force of the law" after a protest in support of the proscribed group Palestine Action led to more than 500 arrests on Saturday.

The Metropolitan Police said the number of arrests was the largest made by the force on a single day in the last decade.

Officers from the Met’s Counter Terrorism Command will put together case files and charge those arrested. | ITV National News
