Google is expected to launch the Pixel 10, Pixel Watch 4, new Pixel Buds and maybe even a MagSafe-alternative on August 20.

If true, the Pixel 10’s rumoured SIM slot ban in the US would mark another nail in the coffin for physical SIM cards, nudging users further into the eSIM era, whether they’re ready or not.

It’s not the flashiest design, and the competition is stiff this year, thanks to Samsung finally upgrading the Galaxy Z Fold 7 in meaningful ways. However, Google shouldn’t be ruled out.
