Commanders release DT Jonathan Allen after failing to find trade partner
The Washington Commanders announced Friday that they are releasing two-time Pro Bowl defensive tackle Jonathan Allen. The move, which frees up $16.5 million in cap space for the Commanders, comes after Washington failed to find a trade partner for the 30-year-old veteran.
A source confirmed to the Pioneer Press that the Vikings have agreed to terms with Pro Bowl defensive tackle Jonathan Allen.
Jonathan Allen will make whichever team lands him very happy as long as he’s still so effective against double teams.
