Six-year veteran edge defender Charles Omenihu has signed a new contract with the Kansas City Chiefs. Omenihu, a former fifth-round pick, spent the 2024 season with the Kansas City Chiefs but has also played for the Houston Texans and San Francisco 49ers.

He still has good relationships with several Chiefs stars, as well, including quarterback Patrick Mahomes, who congratulated Mathieu on his retirement, saying, “Congrats to my Man! @Mathieu_Era one of the best to ever do it!” via X.
