The Boston Bruins narrowly escaped Game 5 with a win over the Buffalo Sabres. They were only able to beat goaltender Alex Lyon one time in regulation. Still, it took only nine minutes of overtime hockey to spring superstar forward David Pastrnak loose in the attacking zone.

The series shifts back to Boston for Game 6, with Buffalo still seeking to clinch its first playoff series victory since eliminating the New York Rangers in six games of a 2007 second-round series.
With a breakaway beauty at 9:14 of overtime, Pastrnak won Game 5 of this first-round playoff series for the Bruins, beating the Sabres, 2-1.
