Federal judge sentenced Vance Boelter, 58, to two life terms plus 40 years for the 2025 Minnesota lawmaker shootings.

Vance Boelter is expected to be sentenced Thursday in the killings of Rep. Melissa Hortman and her husband, Mark Hortman, and shootings of Sen. John Hoffman and his wife, Yvette Hoffman, last June.

U.S. District Judge John Tunheim sentenced Boelter to two consecutive life sentences as well as an additional 40 years.
