The classic Burns Night meal is haggis, neeps and tatties. For anyone unfamiliar with those three words though, allow us to explain.

Served with tatties and neeps (taters and turnips), and a whisky sauce, you might just forget that you’re eating the recently breathing, beating organs of someone’s furry friend.

Haggis is traditionally served with “neeps and tatties” (turnips and potatoes), boiled and mashed separately, and a “dram” (glass) of Scotch whisky.

Dinner includes a classic four-course menu of Cullen skink, haggis, neeps and tatties, as well as a whisky cocktail on arrival and a nip of Glenmorangie 12-year-old Lasanta alongside the haggis toast.
