Valve has released the updated Steam mobile app that lets you download games remotely from your phone and log in with a QR code.

Step 1: Download the Steam Link app to your Android device, and make sure your PC is on and running Steam. Step 2: Complete the setup, and connect your PC to Steam Link using the provided code.

The new version, now live on Android and iOS, has a more functional design, additional login options, and the ability to remotely install games on your PC.
