The Brooklyn Nets made a gamble during the 2021-22 season as they traded James Harden to the Philadelphia 76ers in exchange for Ben Simmons.

The Los Angeles Clippers have signed Ben Simmons, adding a former No. 1 overall pick who struggled to stay healthy and productive during 2 1/2 seasons with the Brooklyn Nets.

Simmons, who signed a five-year, $177 million deal with the 76ers in 2019, will reportedly join the Los Angeles Clippers, where Harden plays.
