It’s hard to deny that Indiana Fever superstar Caitlin Clark is the most recognizable figure in the WNBA right now. So much so that even the biggest stars in the league have felt the impact of Clark’s massive influence on the fans.
As indicated in the post, Clark nearly doubled the previous record for the most expensive WNBA card in history. It was also the reigning WNBA Rookie of the Year who held the previous mark when her 2024 Panini Prizm WNBA Signatures Gold Vinyl Prizm was sold for $366,000 at Goldin Auctions earlier this year.
Clark recently suffered a right groin injury, and after being evaluated by medical staff, she'll remain in recovery and rehabilitation with no time timetable for her return. Her long-term health is the priority, and unfortunately, that means no hoops for now. (Clark will be on the bench for the foreseeable future until she gets better.)
