The National Weather Service says Canadian wildfire smoke will return to Michigan Monday. Residents in northern Michigan should take precautions.

Officials said they've sent several crews to assist in controlling the massive wildfires, and they don't expect them to stop until Canada sees some snow.

Smoke in Michigan is finally clearing after a lengthy bout of pollution from the Canadian wildfires. All advisories have ended, as officials no longer detect unhealthy levels of fine particulate matter.
