This past weekend saw two Japanese fighters, Shigetoshi Kotari and Hiromasa Urakawa, die from brain injuries sustained on the same August 2nd show in Tokyo. Kotari fought OPBF super featherweight champion Yamato Hata to a draw, while Urakawa suffered a TKO loss to Yoji Saito.
