A lucky gambler walked away from a Las Vegas casino with a big jackpot prize. The player sat at a Dragon Cash slot machine at the South Point Hotel Casino & Spa, the casino said in a July 22 post on X,

The player hit the jackpot after stopping at a convenience store in the mountain town of Asheville. The lucky ticket was sold at Fastrac Markets Inc, the N.C. Education Lottery wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.

A lottery player tried their luck on a ticket — and hit the jackpot in North Carolina. The player bought a Carolina Cash 5 ticket that matched all the numbers picked in the July 23 drawing, making it worth $321,419, results show. The winning numbers were: 6-9-24-39-40.

A $422,167 Jersey Cash 5 jackpot was hit on Thursday, July 24, on three separate tickets sold at a Union County shop.

“Something just told me to play that one,” he recalled. “I’m stoked.” It ended up paying off for Evans with a $273,520 jackpot. After taxes, Evans took home $196,251 which he says he plans to spend on buying himself his own place.
