Former Detroit Lions quarterback Tim Boyle has been waived by the Tennessee Titans after signing with the team in March.
Tennessee got blown out in their preseason opener, 29-7, against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Boyle was the third quarterback on the field for the Titans. He operated the final four drives of the game.
The Titans released Boyle on Monday, Jim Wyatt of the team's official site reports.
