Reigning world champion Alysa Liu will look to become the eighth American woman to be crowned Olympic figure skating champion, and the first since 2002.

The team everyone will be trying to catch is Japan’s Rikue Miura and Ryuichi Kihara. The duo posted the best scores in the Short Program and Free Skate, making them a favorite to capture gold this week. Time: 1:30 p.m. ET

After American figure skating duo Madison Chock and Evan Bates finished second to France's Laurence Fournier Beaudry and Guillaume Cizeron in the ice dance at the 2026 Olympics, the United States said it won't appeal the controversial scoring decision.
