Six of HBO ‘s linear channels are getting a makeover. The premium cabler says it has updated the names “to better reflect the respective content offerings.” Additionally, the Cinemax name is being revived.

HBO is enacting more name changes, as the cabler has given a cosmetic makeover to six of its U.S. linear channels. HBO2 will now be called HBO Hits. HBO Signature is now HBO Drama. HBO Zone will henceforth be known as HBO Movies.
