WASHINGTON (AP) — President Donald Trump said Friday that the draw for the 2026 World Cup will take place on Dec. 5 at the Kennedy Center in Washington, and didn’t rule out that he himself might oversee the event.

The 2026 FIFA World Cup is closing in, less than a year to go until the unprecedented event held across the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

FIFA boss Infantino also presented President Trump with the very first ticket to the tournament's grand finale.
