NBA rivalries don’t get more epic than the one that renews whenever the Boston Celtics and Los Angeles Lakers cross paths, and the sparks are set to fly once more this weekend on the NBA on NBC, when the Celtics and Lakers face off on Sunday Night Basketball.

The Detroit Pistons return from the NBA All-Star break with 29 games remaining in the regular season, and begin the final third against the New York Knicks.

The Pistons have the best record in the East at 40-13, and they are only 1.5 games behind the Oklahoma City Thunder for the league’s top mark.
