The exciting bid to turn Louth into the jazz capital of eastern England has received another major boost.
It is tradition for the King and Queen of Carnival to arrive in New Orleans by boat at the riverfront on Lundi Gras day.
The Zulu king and queen arrived in New Orleans from the Coast Guard cutter.
Mardi Gras is most famously celebrated in New Orleans, Louisiana, with the city decking up, hosting parades, celebrations and eating king cake.
Because of the partial federal government shutdown, a longtime Lundi Gras tradition will look a little different this year.
