Robert Duvall, the Academy Award-winning actor known for roles in some of American cinema's greatest films, including "The Godfather" and "Apocalypse Now," has died at age 95.

Robert Duvall, the Oscar-winning actor best known for “The Godfather,“ “Apocalypse Now” and many other tough-guy roles over an acclaimed screen career that spanned six decades, has died.

On Jan. 4, the day before he turned 95, Duvall posted a sweet video montage of old pictures of him and a recent clip of him biting into a cookie.
