Thousands of Black Sabbath fans will pay their respects Wednesday to Black Sabbath front man Ozzy Osbourne as his hearse makes its way through the streets of Birmingham, the city in central England where he grew up and where the band was formed in 1968.

Birmingham will honour hometown legend Ozzy Osbourne with a special cortege procession through Broad Street, celebrating his legacy in the city where Black Sabbath was born

The city of Birmingham announced that Ozzy Osbourne — who died at 76 on Tuesday, July 22 — will be honored with a funeral procession in his hometown on Wednesday, July 30. The Black Sabbath frontman died two weeks after his final performance.
