The Chargers gave coach Jim Harbaugh another run option, selecting North Carolina tailback Omarion Hampton with the No. 22 pick of the NFL draft.

It is no secret that the Los Angeles Chargers need to add another pass catcher to take some of the pressure off of Justin Herbert. Due to the Chargers’ debacle in the playoffs, it was expected that they would draft a wide receiver or tight end with the 22nd pick.
