There is a possibility that FC Barcelona, which played in the FIFA Club World Cup in 2025, will visit the United States again at the end of this year. The Spanish daily As reported on the 11th (Korea time) that the Villarreal-Barcelona match in the 17th round of the 2025-2026 Primera Liga is expected to be held in Miami.

Barcelona’s clash with Villarreal has moved a step closer to being played in the United States after the RFEF confirmed plans to forward a request to UEFA and FIFA to hold the game in Miami. The two sides are scheduled to meet at the Estadio de la Ceramica on December 21st in La Liga but may be jetting out to the US for the game instead.
