Ahead of the John Cena WWE farewell tour, the 16-time world champion reflected on his past. In his prime, Cena rarely lost. Now, the tides have turned. Speaking to Collider, Cena explained why he had to “win a lot” during his peak.

John Cena says he will still be a part of WWE after he retires from in-ring competition. Cena previously announced that he would be retiring at the end of 2025, and he began his farewell tour at the WWE RAW on Netflix premiere on January 6th.

Cena is among the wrestlers set to appear on Netflix’s debut of WWE Raw along with the likes of Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns, CM Punk and Bianca Belair. WWE Monday Night Raw will begin streaming live on Netflix at 5 p.m. PT / 8 p.m. ET on Monday from the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles.

During Cena's heyday, the phrase "LOL Cena Wins" even became a thing on social media, a sarcastic play on how often WWE's top star at the time came out on the winning side of thin
