A man who was believed to be part of a peacekeeping team for the “No Kings” protest in Salt Lake City shot at a person who was brandishing a rifle at demonstrators, striking both the rifleman and a bystander who later died at the hospital, authorities said Sunday.
Five people were shot — three of them fatally — at an annual carnival outside Salt Lake City, Utah, authorities said. One of those killed was an infant, police said.
Expect to see more law enforcement officers out across Iowa patrolling for drivers who fail to yield to vehicles on the shoulder. The Governor's Traffic Safety Bureau and the Central Iowa Traffic Safety Task Force are teaming up with local police to enforce Iowa's Move-Over Law.

East Hampton Police arrested the driver, 18-year-old Luis Gonzalo Barrionuevo-Fuertes, on scene. He is charged with driving while intoxicated, aggravated driving while intoxicated with a child passenger less than 16, and endangering the welfare of the child. He will be arraigned in East Hampton Town Justice Court.
