Former Purdue starting cornerbacks Kyndrich Breedlove and Nyland Green are transferring to Arizona State. They both spent one season with the Boilermakers.

The Purdue Boilermakers had 31 players exit via the transfer portal this offseason and cornerback Kyndrich Breedlove is included to that list. On Monday, he joined former teammate cornerback Nyland Green in transferring to the Arizona State Sun Devils.

WEST LAFAYETTE − Prior to finding the next Purdue football coach, athletic director Mike Bobinski made it public knowledge the hire would not only be someone with a proven background, but also a coach who could rebuild a roster quickly through the transfer portal. Barry Odom was the man tasked with doing so.

“BREAKING: Purdue starting transfer CB Kyndrich Breedlove has Committed to Arizona State, he tells @on3sports,” Hayes Fawcett said in a post. “The 5’11 188 CB totaled 40 Tackles, 4 PD, & 3 INT this season Will have 1 year of eligibility remaining.”

Crew Wakley started 10 of BYU's 12 regular-season games and gives the Boilermakers another experienced addition for the secondary.
