Banton's stint with Boston is likely to be a short one through no fault of his own, as the Celtics do not have the money to add longer-term salaries.

The Celtics are bringing back a familiar face to fill one of their open roster spots. A league source confirmed to MassLive that Boston is signing Dalano Banton to a 10-day contract on Thursday.

Jaylen Brown had a triple-double for the Celtics in the win, posting 23 points, 15 rebounds and 13 assists in 38 minutes.

During his time suiting up for the Celtics, Johnson wore only jersey No. 86 and put up 1.5 points and 1.3 rebounds per game.
