A historic Powerball winner has reportedly lost at least one of his multimillion-dollar homes in the wildfires burning in Southern California.

Edwin Castro won the Powerball lottery in early 2023. He bought homes in Malibu, Altadena and the Hollywood hills. All three were threatened by simultaneous fires, and one burned.

After the deadly fire tore through the area, all that remained of Castro’s $3.8 million home was concrete pillars and smoldering wood.
