The Aliquippa Jr. High School Football Team was involved in a bus crash on Saturday morning. A parent confirmed to KDKA-TV's Jessica Riley that the team was on the bus at the time of the crash. According to the team's Facebook page, the team has left the scene as of approximately 11 a.m., and each player is being evaluated.

More than 20 people have been injured in a school bus crash in Pennsylvania Saturday morning, according to local news outlets. The bus was carrying a high school football team when it crashed in Economy Borough, Beaver County, WTAE reported. The area sits just northwest of Pittsburgh.

Both the east and westbound lanes on the I-90 between Exit 48A and 49 have been reopened, according to the New York State Thruway Authority.

M&Y Tour has a “satisfactory” safety rating and no record of accidents or fatalities over the past two years, according to the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration. Officials inspected the company’s buses and drivers 60 times over the past two years, the agency said.

According to Pittsburgh Public Safety, around 9 a.m., police, EMS, and fire were called to the intersection of 26th Street and Liberty Avenue for a reported two-vehicle crash with entrapment. Once they arrived, they found one person had been hurt on the bus, and the driver of the car had been trapped inside the vehicle.
