Low water levels caused the birds to get stuck when they were foraging for food. The building of the former Lloyds Bank in Burnham-on-Sea is up for sale, the town's news site states. The bank closed the branch last autumn due to "declining use".

A flash flood that swept through the city Sunday left streets looking like rivers and displaced about 50 residents of a West Side apartment complex.

At 7:13 p.m. on Monday, the National Weather Service issued a flood advisory in effect until 10:45 p.m. for Blount and Etowah counties.
