Even though the it was only Google's second foldable ever, the Pixel 9 Pro Fold remains one of my favorite devices of 2024 even after a year of wear and tear.
According to recent leaks and a latest rumour by Evan Blass (@evleaks), Google's Pixel 10 will start at $799 (roughly Rs. 70,000) for the base 128GB storage variant. The 256GB storage model is said to cost $899 (roughly Rs. 78,000). A previous leak suggested a price tag of Rs. 79,990 for the 256GB storage variant in India.
But the most noticeable differences are on the rear of the phones. The Pixel 9 has a glass back while the 9a’s is plastic. The Pixel 9 also has a significantly raised metal camera bar (presumably to house the more powerful cameras), while the 9a’s cameras are more embedded, making the design feel more streamlined.
Google's latest teaser clips show off its next foldable, while listing some AI features, and lots of special guests.
Google didn't need to make its own smartphone. Even though the company spent several years having other manufacturers build phones it could slap its "Nexus" branding on, selling hardware is not core to Google's business.
It’s no secret that the Pixel 10 line is coming, as Google has already shown off the phones. We’re expecting four models this year: the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and Pixel 10 Pro Fold.
