Will Power may have won the battle in Sunday's IndyCar series race at Portland International Raceway, but Alex Palou unmistakably captured the war.

Palou captured his third consecutive INDYCAR championship — and the fourth of his career (2021, 2023-25) — with a third-place finish in Sunday's running of the Grand Prix of Portland. Will Power won the race.

Alex Palou's fourth IndyCar Series Championship is team owner Chip Ganassi's 17th IndyCar Series title, tying him with the great Roger Penske for most in IndyCar history.
