PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Rhode Island Governor Dan McKee will release his 2025 budget plan Thursday. The state public expenditure released a report on January 10 saying the state budget deficit is now approximately $300 million. That’s down from the October prediction of a $400 million deficit made by the state budget office.
