SOME OHIO NATIONAL GUARD MEMBERS ARE GEARING UP FOR DEPLOYMENT TO WASHINGTON, D.C. AS PART OF PRESIDENT TRUMP’S EFFORT TO FEDERALLY TAKE OVER

On Saturday, protests emerged around the city, with demonstrators saying the National Guard’s deployment into DC violates its autonomy, with one protest forcing soldiers to retreat. So far, six Republican-led states have also deployed hundreds of their own National Guard to DC to support President Trump’s crackdown.
