The Atlanta Falcons have released veteran wide receiver DJ Chark, according to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network. The team signed Chark in late July after wide receiver Darnell Mooney (shoulder) went down with a shoulder injury early in training camp.

According to a report from the NFL Network, the Atlanta Falcons are expected to sign free-agent cornerback C.J. Henderson. The former top-10 draft pick worked out with the team last week, and according to Ian Rapoport, Henderson is choosing Atlanta "over several suitors."
