The Los Angeles Rams completed their first preseason game on Saturday against the Dallas Cowboys. While the coaching staff will value practices and time in the meeting rooms, the preseason could still determine roster spot.

The preseason begins for the Los Angeles Rams today as they host the Dallas Cowboys at SoFi Stadium. It comes after these two teams squared off in a joint practice earlier this week in Oxnard, so they'll get another chance to go toe-to-toe on the field.

The Rams rushed for 181 yards in their 10-point win over the Cowboys, starting the preseason off on the right foot.

Cowboys QB Dak Prescott told Rams owner Stan Kroenke that he expects the two teams to go head-to-head in this year's NFC title game.

In a video captured by Mike Leslie of WFAA, pre-game, quarterback Dak Prescott and Cowboys owner Jerry Jones were seen talking to Rams owner Stan Kroenke on the field. And cameras picked up a statement from Dak that might have Cowboys fans either happy the quarterback said it … or might have Cowboys fans shaking their heads.
